Picatrix One Year Anniversary: March 30th, 2006

Picatrix reaches one year today ^-^

In celebration, we're looking back at how far we've come and taking a look into the future. This site will be changing daily for the next week with fun Picatrix stuff ^-^

Part One: A Look Back

When I started Picatrix, I knew that creating comic art was not one of my strengths. I had a story I really wanted to tell and an insatiable interest in comics, though... and the bullheadedness not to give up despite the flames ^-^; To this day, I still struggle with the art ><

The Picatrix website has also seen some
significant upgrades...

 The making of Picatrix....
Has changed a lot from day one. I started out  creating the comic from typing paper, sakura micron  pens and colored pencils. Today, I use nibbed pens  and india ink for lineart and do everything else on the  computer with a combination of Adobe Photoshop  CS2, Deleter Comicworks and Frontier MangaStudio  3.0 EX.

My favorite comic ^-^
For a long time, this comic didn't show up in the archives (some Comic Genesis glitch that has since been fixed) so those of you who have read through the archive earlier this year might have missed it.... At any rate, this is my favorite scene in the series ^-^

Part Two: A Look Forward

Goals for the new year:
Picatrix grew much faster than I had anticipated a year ago, meeting every goal I had initially set. Will this year be a repeat of that? I hope so! Here are a few of my goals for 2006 (of course, I'm always adding new ones :D)...
